Today is a big milestone for Hugh Bonneville – the actor and producer is turning 60 years old!
Best known for his roles in Downton Abbey and Paddington, Hugh Bonneville has been entertaining audiences around the world for decades. He first made waves on TV in 1991 with his role as Edward Pelham in "The Cazalets". Since then, he's taken on many iconic roles on stage, television and film.
On stage, he's appeared in productions like King Lear at The Old Vic Theatre and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre. His small screen credits include Viceroy’s House (2017), Doctor Who (2005), The Hollow Crown (2012) and Call the Midwife (2010-19). On the big screen, Hugh has starred in films such as Notting Hill (1999), Paddington 1 & 2 (2014/2017), The Monuments Men (2014) and Mission Impossible: Fallout (2018).
